One piece of work which stood out for me by this artist is the telephone posts which are just prints of silhouettes on top of different tones of yellow. I think he must have started off with the base colour of the dark musty yellow canvas, card or paper I don’t know and then first printed the lighter yellows on top of that for like grids where he wants the prints to be and then finally printed the black silhouettes on top of those which I think has worked really well and shows all the different styles of telephone posts he has found and different viewpoints he has looked at them all looking from bellow either right underneath or from a bit of a distance, but I have also noticed that he hasn’t got any prints from viewing these posts from above looking down towards the floor but then that wouldn’t carry on the style of having just the telephone posts and the sky as an emptiness in the background.
